Quick Start GuideAmpere Altra Developer RuggedFollow the steps below to connect, power, and start up your Ampere Altra Developer Rugged. 1. Using a self-prepared Ethernet cable, connect your Ampere Altra Developer Rugged to a network. 2. Connect a USB mouse, USB keyboard, and a VGA monitor to your Ampere Altra Developer Rugged. 3. Connect your Ampere Altra Developer Rugged to power by using one of the power cords supplied (US or EU). 4. Before turning it on, please note that your Ampere Altra Developer Rugged is preinstalled with Ubuntu 20.04.3. If you want to use another operating system (OS), please follow the corresponding OS installation procedures: Yocto installation procedures CentOS installation procedures 5. Turn on your Ampere Altra Developer Rugged by flipping on the power switch at the rear of the system, pressing the power button at the top for ~2 seconds and then releasing it. Note: During startup, it shall take ~50 seconds for the EDKII screen to appear and ~55 seconds for the Linux OS to fully boot.
