Setting BIOS to Boot via USB Drive

The following provides detailed steps on how to flash OS image(s) using a bootable USB drive.


  1. Make sure your USB drive is bootable.
  2. Insert the USB drive into your target device.
  3. Make sure that your target device has connected all required accessories and cables such as keyboard, mouse, USB drive, network LAN, and HDMI display.
  4. After startup, press [Del] on your keyboard upon seeing the ADLINK logo as exemplified below to enter the boot menu.

  1. The Main section of the boot menu appears, where you can see detailed information of your device.

  1. You can move into the Boot section by pressing the right arrow key a few times.

  2. In the Boot section, select and enter Boot Option #1 to set your USB drive as the first boot option.

  1. Once done, move to the Save & Exit section and select Save Changes and Reset as exemplified below to finish.
