Installing Network Adapter For Windows
This guide will show you how to install Windows network drivers.
Prerequisites
- Download the network driver for I-Pi SMARC Elkhart Lake click here.
- Getting to the download page requires registration and logging in before you can download the driver.
- Once you are on the webpage, you will see the driver option on the right side inside the technical resources block. Click on it.
- This will take you to the next page as shown in the figure. Upon clicking the Intel GbE Driver Engineering, the download will begin automatically.
- You will need to copy the downloaded files and extract them to the USB pen drive.
- Make sure the targeted device is powered up by connecting all cables and power cords.
Installation Steps
- You will need to connect the USB pen drive to targeted device.
- Prior to installation, check the network.
- Go to into the USB pen drive as shown in the figure.
- Select the installation file (IntelGbE) and press the right-click key, you will find the option to install.
- To complete the installation, click yes to all.
- The pop-up window appears once the installation is complete and if the Ethernet cable is connected. It will detect itself automatically as shown above figure.
- You can verify the driver installation in your system by opening up the device manager and checking the network adapter.
